    • We accept many insurance plans even if you do not see us on the list of dentists provided by your insurance carrier. Call us today and one of our administrative assistants will easily answer this question for you.
  • But Dr. Green is not on the list of dentists for my plan…can I still see Dr. Green with my insurance?
    • It is important to note that if you do not see us on the list of dentists associated with your plan, this does not automatically mean you cannot come to us as a patient. Please call us because there is a good chance you can still become a Ridge Dental patient. (708)349-5800

  • What is the difference between DDS and DMD?
    • The simple answer to this question is, there is no difference between a DDS or DMD degree. Some dental schools award graduate a DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) degree and other schools award a DMD (Doctor of Dental Medicine) degree. Both are general dentistry degrees. All general dentists whether DMD or DDS have to pass the same national board and licensing examinations.
